The Masonic Charity Foundation of New Jersey was established in 1930 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Ever since, our donors have generously supported our mission. Click this link to learn more about our mission.

The Foundation values our partnerships with both individual donors and corporate sponsors. Whether gifts are for general operating support or for a specific purpose, the generosity of our donors continues to make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.

Donors can direct their gifts to benefit those who they want to help: the Masonic Village’s residents, student scholarship recipients, member Masons and their loved ones, others in our community.

The Foundation’s giving programs have been designed to meet our donor’s varied philanthropic interests and objectives.

Corporate Giving

Corporate Sponsorship: Corporate support may be made for general operating needs, or for a specific purpose. Many tax planning opportunities exist to encourage gifts from closely-held businesses. Thank you to our current sponsors posted below.

Recognition Opportunities: Larger gifts (usually of $10,000 or more) may be made to designate a donor item on the Masonic Village at Burlington campus. For a full list of current opportunities, please contact us.

Donor Advised Funds: Click the button below to donate from your Donor Advised Fund. To learn how to give assets to a donor advised fund, and then make grants to the Foundation, contact us.

Planned Giving

Charitable Gift Annuity Program: Through this program, donors give $5,000 or more to us, and in return, we pay them fixed, lifetime income. At the end of the term, any remaining funds care for the Masonic Village residents. For this reason, the donor is entitled to several tax benefits. Calculate your gift annuity rate using our gift calculator, or contact us for more information.

Charitable Remainder Trust Program: Through this program, donors give $250,000 or more to us, and in return, the Foundation pays them income. Income is paid for either a term of years or for life at either a fixed or variable rate. Tax benefits make these trusts an important planning tool for large estates.

Bequest Program: Leave a lasting legacy by remembering the Foundation in your Will, or naming us as a beneficiary of your retirement account. More information about how to include philanthropic giving in your estate and financial plans is found here.
